The Locks and Lashes Powder Room is situated on Auntsfield Estate Vineyard, a secluded retreat from central Blenheim yet only 10 minutes drive from the town centre. The relaxed intimate surroundings of the Powder Room will ensure that you feel pampered, special and completely stress-free.
Scented candles, fresh flowers, peaceful music, a white fluffy robe and Deirdre’s warm welcoming personality will keep those pre-wedding nerves down to a minimum. Sip on Turkish apple tea, nibble an exquisite cupcake, flick through a glossy magazine and relax while your hair is styled and makeup artfully applied using the latest products and techniques.
Deirdre knows the importance of looking fantastic on your wedding day and this does involve a little preparation!
A consultation prior to the wedding is highly recommended. This will help to create your own unique style of hair and makeup. And remember:
- Skincare - for a healthy glowing complexion
- Resist the urge for anything too trendy - keep the face timeless
- Waterproof makeup - avoid smudges and helps with those tears of joy
It’s a great opportunity to show the mother of the bride and your bridesmaids how much you appreciate their contribution to your big day – Deirdre will pamper them too!
Larger groups are also welcome. Deidre and her assistant will ensure that everyone receives the attention they deserve.
Wedding parties are welcome to prepare for the event at Deirdre’s home and if you wish, the peaceful surroundings of the lush vineyard provide a stunning backdrop for pre-wedding photographs.
Makeup and Hair Consultations
Deirdre provides a one on one makeup consultation. Using the skills and techniques she
has learnt to provide you with the best level of expertise in hair and makeup tailored to suit your needs. Your individual session will help you feel more confident about applying makeup to enhance your best features. This is an opportunity to learn the products and secrets used by the professionals as you under go a luxurious experience.
